Keith Wilson didn't let the fact that he is a male stop him from trying out for the Miami Heat dance team—because first and foremost, he is a dancer.
Wilson was the lone male among nearly 200 contestants auditioning for a spot on the squad, according to Local 10 News. While some may not be accepting of male dancers, this dancer said Miami was open to giving him a shot.
Even though Wilson did not wind up making the squad, it was still a worthwhile experience for him. He earned plenty of respect from his fellow dancers and has become an Internet sensation.
This wasn't his first audition for the team, however. He also tried out back in 2012:
Maybe one day he will fulfill his dream of dancing for the Heat.
