Back in March, during Russell Westbrook’s late-season rampage, the Thunder guard became the first NBA player since Michael Jordan in 1989 to record four consecutive triple-doubles.
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday, the All-Star admitted that he was gunning to break the record (even though it might have potentially upset the uber-competitive MJ, who happens to be Russ’s business partner.)
Westbrook also discussed OKC’s integration of new head coach Billy Donovan, and superstar teammate Kevin Durant’s highly-anticipated return to action.
