After leading Notre Dame to an improbable run to the Elite 8, Pat Connaughton headed to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in Portsmouth, VA.
His athleticism, shooting range and high basketball IQ were on full display against 64 of the nation’s top seniors. For Connaughton, the PIT proved to be a step toward eventually being selected 41st overall by the Blazers in the 2015 NBA Draft.
